Brief Introduction

Halaaaa! My name is Alex Hall. Here's my headshot, and also a GIF of digital "drip" art I did. In real life I might have a beard and mousemoustachee, but I'm not updating the headshot.

I do creative and technical things. At this blog, I mostly present my art. That's the best short introduction I've got.

My interests are many. I do:

  • Software and hardware Quality Assurance (bug hunting, documenting, and hardware / integration functionality verification)
  • Coding and Creative Coding (code that makes art) in Processing, Python and other languages
  • Digital abstract art and other kinds of art
  • Scripts and programs that assist in data conversions or other digital art-related production tasks, etc.
  • Screenwriting: silly stuff, and/or science fiction/fantasy)
  • Volunteering; I volunteered as the Theater Media Arts track head for LTUE.
  • Songwriting. So far mostly short silly songs. At this writing quite a backlog of unpublished ones.
